Products and Pricing
Packaging: All of our products are packaged in glass. We have been using the same break resistant bottles for over two decades. Several years ago we began offering the massage oils in bottles with a spray mist applicator, which many prefer over the flip top.
Pricing: Only recently have we begun to raise our prices within range of other companies offering similar products. With the rise in fuel the impact on our costs have been dramatic. Considering that our pricing has been overall a third or more below every product line of similar quality, we hope our customers will understand. We encourage you to surf the web for price comparisons if you feel you can find a high quality truly organic, herbal, aromatherapy product for less. Oil of Hypericii has been employed by pharmacognocists for over a century. The formula can be found in the U.S. Dispensatories dating back to the early 1900's. Our oil of Hypericum is a massage oil with a 10% concentration of hypericum added. Full concentrates are available. Recently we have added essential oil of Helichrysum to the formula. Ing.: Expellor pressed olive oil, infusion of St. Johnswort flowers and leaves and lemon balm leaves (which gives the oil a greenish color, essential oils of Lavender and Helichrysum italicum.

Initially labeled "Comfrey Chickweed Salve" because it was one of the few salves available nationwide containing the anti-inflammatory, nutrient rich Stellaria media. Bygone Herbal Outdoor Formula is a multi-purpose product originally developed as an alternative to chemical insect repellents in 1986. Bygone is made from completely non-toxic essential oils and organic sunflower oil. It has been tested in buggy places throughout the world, by our customers, who have provided us with great feedback over the years. Bygone has proved effective for alleviating the pain of muscle tension from backpack straps cutting off the circulation during a long hike, a use we discovered while testing it out in the white mountains in 1986. Others have reported that it makes a great shaving lotion, and truly it does, especially when camping and the only water available is too cold to shave with with ~! We've also found it works okay as toothpaste (in a pinch) and for those die hards...deodorant.
Ingredients: Organic sunflower oil, eucalyptus off., and citriodora, rosemary off., sweet birch, peppermint, geranium and rosehip seed oil. This formula has a couple of new ingredients that help with the effectiveness, but do not detract from bygones great aroma which is essentially the same as the original blend.
